It has been a busy couple of months since our inaugural issue and we appreciate all of the feedback from the first newsletter. In this month’s issue, we are updating you with the latest industry happenings, highlighting related blog posts, introducing our partners, sharing international marketing and recruiting tips, as well as keeping you informed of where you can find us as we travel around the country! We always welcome your thoughts and feedback, so please feel free to share with us any comments about the newsletter or stories we can highlight. Please also follow us on Twitter and fan us on Facebook!
What's New @ Envisage This Month?

On September 1st launched their 6th travel video contest, and it’s expected to be bigger and better than previous years judging by the pre-launch interest from students.

The format is the same as previous years, where students can submit a video (no more than 5 minutes in length) telling us why they want to study or travel abroad. This year’s winner will also receive our $4,000 grand prize!

Find out all the information about the travel video contest on our contest landing page and help us spread the word!

Recruiting Tip
Can Facebook Really Help with Recruiting?
With over 150 million active daily users, it is safe to say at least a few of those could be potential students at your school. Facebook is today’s "word of mouth" and it is where students can learn, discuss, and research your school. With Facebook, you can be a part of the online discussion more so than ever before and here are a few reasons to adopt a Facebook strategy to help with your recruiting efforts:
  • It's FREE - Facebook reaches 70% of all internet users and with budgets being tight, you can't argue with a free strategy.
  • Get your Message out - Facebook is a forum to get your message out to students and discuss upcoming events, gatherings, campus happenings, due dates and deadlines. It is your opportunity to engage with current students and potential future ones.
  • SEO Benefits - As Google continues to change the way consumers connect with businesses or students for that matter, Facebook is actually playing a role in how your school shows up in organic listings. The more presence you have with social media, the more this will benefit your rankings.
  • Share Different Media - What other platform allows you to share media, including photos, videos, pictures and links and then allows students to engage with that media?
  • Competitors - Your competitors are using Facebook to recruit students and are engaging them and conversing with them online.
  • Online Reputation - Facebook gives you the opportunity to be part of the conversation and allows you to both respond and control the dialogue.
If done properly, Facebook can be a valuable tool to add to your recruiting arsenal!
