Summer is in full-swing, and here in Florida we just enjoyed many 4th of July celebrations, fireworks, barbeques and parties. Hopefully many of your students got to experience this most American of holidays! But we’re not thinking solely about the USA these days, as we’re excited to announce the launch of our school search into Canada, Australia and the UK, together with the marketing opportunities that presents for universities in those destinations. We also talk a bit about our state consortia marketing packages, as well as a new study abroad group insurance plan and the emerging acceptance of Gaokao scores by US colleges and universities.

School Search Expansion is excited to introduce newly expanded school searches. These new study centers include colleges and universities in Canada, the UK, and Australia. The new search tools allow students all over the world who wish to study in Canada, the UK, or Australia to find the right university for them and to inquire directly to that school. Alongside the search, each country is broken down with comprehensive information to guide international students in their research and their journey.

Explore the new study centers and please feel free to share with your staff and students, all input is appreciated:

State Consortia Packages

As international student enrollment continues to decline, in comes a rise of state consortia. More and more schools are banding together and working towards a common goal: keep international students interested in the colleges and universities within their state. The goals of a consortium involve marketing the state and working with their elected officials to maintain or enact policies that make their state a desirable location for international students. The hardest part of these goals is that they are tricky to measure, and most consortia must track, measure and report on their progress. has created a marketing model that can be measured. We can increase brand awareness through our digital marketing and generate leads while also listing every school in the consortium on a featured profile. Leads are a great place to start with measuring and tracking. If your state is interested in learning more, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team!

The Acceptance of Gaokao Scores Continues to Increase

Gaokao scores can “make or break” a Chinese student’s acceptance into a university. With so much weight around this large standardized test, it was only a matter of time until other countries, including the US, started accepting its scores for one of the largest sending countries of international students. Read more on the growth of universities implementing test-flexible policies and more specifically, allowing Chinese students to apply with Gaokao scores in place of ACT or SAT scores.
