Meet the Team
Keith Clausen
Keith Clausen, President

Keith co-founded EIC in 2005 and as President, directs the overall strategy and operations of the company. Prior to forming EIC in 2005, he practiced law with Holland & Knight LLP in Washington DC and Amsterdam as a corporate lawyer, focusing on M&A and venture capital, then with the PGA TOUR in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida where he was Vice President and Assistant General Counsel. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and the University of Florida - College of Law.

Ross Mason
Ross Mason, Senior Vice President

Ross joined the company in 2002, after graduating from the Nottingham Trent University in the UK with a First in BSc (Hons) Business and Technology. Ross has lived all around the world including LA, New York, Boston, London, Hong Kong, Florida, and now Leipzig, Germany. Overseeing all parts of the business, Ross also heads up the insurance business at EIC, running the two brands International Student Insurance and Envisage Global Insurance Services, managing all aspects from partner relations, product development, marketing and client acquisition.

Emil Gallant
Emil Gallant, Vice President, Technology

Emil joined EIC in 2006 as the Director of Technology. Previous to that, he had worked in Silicon Valley for over 15 years for some of the biggest software and hardware companies in the world, including Borland International, Apple, Motorola, and Novell. His job at EIC consists of developing robust web server applications, designing new websites and using the latest technology to enhance the online presence of EIC.

Annemarie Estrada
Annemarie Estrada, Vice President, Client Services

Annemarie joined the company in early 2008 and has transformed the customer service department into a model of efficiency and responsiveness. Annemarie's experience working with international businesses and people provides her with unique insight into the needs and concerns of the international students, travelers, and advisors she talks with every day. She also directs much of the outbound marketing of the company, and represents EIC at various international education conferences.

Jennifer Frankel
Jennifer Frankel, Vice President, University Relations

Jennifer joined EIC in the beginning of 2009, drawn by her strong commitment to international education. She has lived and worked abroad in Chile, Costa Rica, and London, and traveled extensively in South America, Europe and Asia. Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Florida where she holds a Masters in International Business and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.

Dana Luther
Dana Luther, Vice President, Development

Dana joined the EIC team in early 2011. A graduate of the University of Florida College of Architecture, she has been developing dynamic web applications since 1996. Dana steers the development path for Envisage, pushing to always maintain the highest standards of performance while keeping up to date with the rapidly evolving tech landscape. She is a frequent presenter at PHP conferences and believes strongly in the power of shared knowledge and building strong teams.

Morrison Kwong
Morrison Kwong, Director, Client Services and Sales

Morrison joined EIC in early 2012. Originally from Hong Kong, he came to the United States to study as an international high school student, graduated college and finished his CPT/OPT internship. This extensive international student experience and global mindset led him to join Envisage. Morrison is a graduate of the University of North Florida with a Bachelor in International Business. He currently lives between Xiamen, China and Hong Kong and speaks English, Mandarin and Chinese fluently.

Sutherland Schneider
Sutherland Schneider, Director, Client Services

Sutherland joined the team in early 2014 after receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of North Florida. She has had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Europe, which instilled an unwavering passion of international travel. This, combined with her strong interest in Marketing, led her to join the Envisage team.

Sally McLeod
Sally McLeod, Director, University Relations

Sally joined EIC in early 2015. Sally has had the opportunity to live and work abroad in Australia, London, and the Netherlands. After graduating from UNF with a Bachelor's in Psychology, she went on to fulfill her passion for travel which took her throughout South America, Europe, Asia, and North Africa. Working with internationals and facilitating travel abroad is what brought Sally to Envisage.

Leah Jones
Leah Jones, Director, Client Services

Leah's passion for international travel and her background in customer relations brought her to Envisage International. She received her Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from Florida State University.

Nate Bockoven
Nate Bockoven, Web Developer

Nate joined EIC in early 2016. He worked as a pest control technician before switching career paths to the glamorous IT field where he continues the tradition of squashing bugs. He studied web development in Sacramento, CA where he built and managed award-winning online tools catering to government and education sectors. When not in the office, one will usually find him hiking, camping, paddle boarding, and piloting drones to help capture it all.

Yessica Pacheco
Yessica Pacheco, Director, Customer Service

Yessica joined the EIC team in 2016 and oversees the customer service team of the company. Her interest in education and international relations along with her experience in bilingual customer service led her to Envisage. She is passionate about international travel and has had the opportunity to travel throughout Latin America, Asia and Europe. Originally from Colombia, she grew up in the United States and is currently finishing her Business degree at Fort Hays State University.

Klare Paul
Klare Paul, Accounting and Human Resources Director

Klare joined EIC in late 2016. She has a BS in Finance and Real Estate from Florida State. Prior to joining EIC, she worked in the commercial real estate and non-profit fields for several years.

Alejandra Ramirez Gomez
Alejandra Ramirez Gomez, Senior Account Manager, Client Services

Alex joined the team in 2016. Originally from Mexico, she came to EIC driven by her interest in international customer service. Her background includes teaching English as a second language, graphic design for advertising and education, photography and translation services. She currently lives in Mexico City where she helps us with the Spanish speaking market approach.

Ramez Stephan
Ramez Stephan, Training Manager, Sales & Customer Service

Living in Germany and originally from Jordan, Ramez is all about the intercultural experience. Having his bachelor degree in Business and working experience with students, Ramez and EIC share the same passions.

Juncal Caballero
Juncal Caballero, Office Manager

Juncal joined EIC in March 2017, and works in our Mexico City office. Originally from Mexico, she has always shown an interest in international experiences. She has lived in Germany and Ireland, and has traveled around Europe, South America and Oceania. She received her Bachelor's degree in Translation and is currently pursuing her Master's in Education.

Nathan Stetter
Nathan Stetter, Lead Software Developer

Nathan joined the EIC team in 2018. He is graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Studies and a minor in Computer and Information Science. As a developer, Nathan loves writing clean and maintainable code to solve new and interesting problems.

Alexis Ponce
Alexis Ponce, Manager, Customer Service

Alexis joined EIC in February 2018 and works in the Mexico City office. Originally from the Yucatán peninsula, they have a degree in Visual Arts and have always had an interest in languages. They’re currently learning Japanese and Swedish and enjoy spending quiet evenings in the company of a good book and their three cats.

Natalie Holland
Natalie Holland, Account Manager, Client Services

Natalie received her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of North Florida. After studying in North Africa and a solo backpacking trip through Europe, Natalie knew that she wanted to work at a global level. After working with refugees in Jacksonville, Florida for several years, her path led her to join the Envisage team.

Antonio Zapata
Antonio Zapata, Account Manager, Client Services

From the south of Mexico, Antonio was born in Tabasco and moved to Mexico City in 2018, seeking for new opportunities and experiences. He joined the company driven by his interest in customer service and different cultures around the world. His background includes hospitality, customer service and teaching English as a second language.

Neha Arvind Kumar
Neha Arvind Kumar, Manager, Client Services

Neha joined EIC in 2019. Originally from India, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and a Postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management and Public Relations. She has worked as a lead in training, audits, operations and customer service in the renowned Apollo Hospitals Group before relocating to Mexico City. She enjoys traveling and learning new languages. Her strong commitment towards delivering service excellence and customer experience management has led her to join EIC.

Karla Lopez
Karla Lopez, Senior Coordinator, Client Services

Karla graduated from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México with a Bachelor in International Relations. She has a passion for international studies after studying in Barcelona and Belgium. She loves writing, especially when it comes to politics. Fun fact, she has even written for the Heraldo Newspaper! When she's not traveling and writing, you can find her playing sports. Her two favorites are cheerleading and karate.

Maria Caballero
Maria Caballero, Senior Coordinator, Customer Service

Maria joined the EIC team in early 2021. She has a bachelor degree in International Relations and she is currently actively working in customer service where she enjoys helping people achieve their international goals, she also has knowledge in the educational tourism sector.

Lia Malcon
Lia Malcon, Coordinator, University Relations

Lia joined EIC in February 2022, and works in our Mexico City office. She received her Bachelor’s degree in History and her Master’s in Art History, both from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Her passion for languages, culture and travel has led her to join EIC. When she isn’t working or traveling, you can find her going to the theater or to a contemporary art exhibition.

Debra Merritt
Debra Merritt, Senior Coordinator, Customer Service

Debra joined Envisage International in February 2022. She brings with her an extensive background in customer service, ranging from public education to a private surgeon’s practice. She most recently was working in a surgeon’s office doing front office customer service, insurance referrals and authorizations. Debra has a love of all animals and spends much of her spare time split between her family and her 4-legged, furry babies and grandbabies.

Diego Guido
Diego Guido, Coordinator, Customer Service

From Mexico City, Diego joined Envisage driven by his interest in discovering new cultures, customer care and helping international students. He's currently studying a marketing degree. When he's not working or traveling, you'll find him doing his beauty blog on Instagram as a makeup artist. He has a passion for beauty and movies.

Leslie Reynolds
Leslie Reynolds, Manager, University Relations

Leslie joined EIC in 2022 after more than 10 years on the university side of international education. Her passion for helping international students and finding solutions to common problems led her to the company. She brings a perspective of student immigration advising, study abroad advising, and study abroad program development to the role, along with experience at various institution types and in four different states. As a student, Leslie studied abroad in the UK, Guatemala, and South Korea. Leslie received her Bachelor's in English Literature from Queens University of Charlotte and her Master's in Higher Education from the University of South Carolina.

Staci Farmer
Staci Farmer, Account Manager, Client Services

Staci joined Envisage International in June 2022. She received her Bachelor's degree in Advertising from the University of Alabama. Staci has many years of customer service experience in a wide array of industries and is a consummate people person who believes in the power of quality communication. Staci loves international travel and yearns to experience more of the world. If she’s not reading a book she’s trying to cuddle her two cats.

Joss JimAr
Joss JimAr, Coordinator, Customer Service

Joss JimAr joined EIC in June 2022 where they bring their love of languages and communication. Joss has experience teaching English as a Second Language and they have also conducted workshops on inclusion and equality. They have a Masters degree in Biological Sciences and studied abroad at the Royal Ontario Museum. Joss has a passion for performing arts, singing and traveling.

Juan Reyes
Juan Reyes, Coordinator, Customer Service

Joined EIC in June 2022, working at the Mexico City office. For several years, he has been working as a professional customer service representative. Trained to discover, prioritize and resolve user needs according to the circumstances. He is studying for his bachelor's degree in psychology at the Universidad del Valle de México.

Angela Perrilliat
Angela Perrilliat, Coordinator, University Relations

Angela joined EIC in June 2022 and works at our Mexico City office. Even though she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, her spirit for international education and public health policies led her to the company. Angela has experience teaching English as a Second Language and she has also conducted workshops on mental health and other related topics. Her favorite activities besides helping people and finding creative solutions to problems are hand embroidering, cooking and spending time with her pets.

Paola Torres
Paola Torres, Coordinator, Customer Service

Paola joined the company in 2023 and has lived in Mexico City since 2016. She has a degree in photography and enjoys learning new languages. Her favorite hobbies include taking photos and videos and then editing them in Adobe Photoshop. She is currently learning French and working on other Adobe apps on her free time. Her love for languages and interest in learning new ways to communicate with others brought her to EIC.

Catherine Freeman
Catherine Freeman, Coordinator, University Relations

Catherine joined the Envisage team in 2023 after nearly a decade in the non-profit sector, working in education-focused grantmaking and community-based fundraising. Her passion for international travel and providing support for higher education drew her to the Envisage team. As a student, Catherine studied abroad in Ghana and the UK. She graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in History, with a concentration in Gender & Empire Studies.

Laura Chavez
Laura Chavez, Coordinator, Customer Service

Having joined the team in 2023, Laura brings a wealth of experience to our Customer Service division. Her experience with clients and team management extends over three years. She is enthusiastic about making a difference in every interaction she has with the members of our organization. When she isn't at work, you can find her enjoying a good concert, a good walk with her dogs or movies with her kid. As a proud mother, she takes a great deal of pride in her son.

Graciela Patino
Graciela Patino, Coordinator, Customer Service

Graciela's adventures began at 11, traveling to a CISV summer camp in Norway and years later living as an international student in Sioux, South Dakota. These multicultural experiences ignited a passion for travel, books, and people. Her thirst for knowledge about art, culture, and diverse perspectives fueled her studies in communications and political marketing. Graciela's natural ability to connect, honed through experiences in insurance and customer service, ultimately led her to Envisage – a place where her unique skill set could truly thrive.

Tanisha Carson
Tanisha Carson, Coordinator, Customer Service

Tanisha joined Envisage in 2024. She is a former insurance claims team lead with more than 12 years of expertise in the industry. She has been recognized for outstanding leadership, having secured two Employee of the Year awards and the prestigious Supervisor of the Year accolade. Outside of work, she cherishes spending quality time with her two children and actively participates in walk/run events.

Mikayla Cleary
Mikayla Cleary, Coordinator, Customer Service

Mikayla joined the EIC team in 2024, drawn by her deep passion for travel and her commitment to international business. She holds a bachelor's degree in International Business from the University of North Florida. During her studies, Mikayla gained valuable experience by interning with study abroad programs, enriching her understanding of global markets and cultural dynamics. Her dedication to fostering international connections and expanding her knowledge has driven her to contribute her expertise to EIC. Outside of work and travel, Mikayla enjoys unwinding with a good book on the couch.

Leayah Williams
Leayah Williams, Coordinator, Customer Service

Leayah joined EIC in April 2024. She is a graduate of Florida A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Business Management. After working in both Sales and Finance, her love for Sales and serving others ultimately led her to join the Envisage team as a University Relations Coordinator. When she isn’t working, Leayah is enjoying her time as being a mom to her daughter.
